Dear Sue

I understand that you have now been made aware of the decision of the School IT Committee regarding your web site, and I have been asked to progress the transfer of the material which the Committee approved, and remove any unauthorised content. This will need to be completed by the end of July; after that time the whole 'old' site will be closed down as we withdraw from service the Sun hardware on which it is located.

We can offer you support in moving the authorised content to a new corporate location, and some advice on finding an ISP to host the other material should you wish to do so.

As you know, it has been our aim to not disadvantage students during this process, hence my earlier offer to help with the transfer of your teaching material. Even after the changes to access arrangements, your current site remains visible to any user on campus, and to any member of the University via authenticated access from anywhere.
