Dear Sue,

as you know, in January the Registrar and Secretary Jonathon Nicholls invited Heads of School to peer review Birmingham websites maintained by individuals to ensure that those sites are relevant and legitimate to colleagues' adminstrative or academic work. In Humanities, I undertook this task in April, with the help of the School IT strategy committee.

The group considered that the material on your site related to Research and Publications, UG courses, Links for Teaching Staff and PG courses did fit with the remit of your academic/admin activity, and should be approved. Please transfer all other material to a private site, and confirm that you have done so, after which I shall approve renewal of your Birmingham site. I regret the delay in informing you of this.

with all good wishes,

Alex
